AP -- Ritz Camera is selling a disposal digital camera at about the same price as a typical disposal film camera.
Dakota Digital is made by a company called Pure Digital. The camera costs $10.99.
It allows the user to have all the features of a digital camera without having to own one.
With processing, beside the pictures, the customer gets a photo C-D to make it easy to send the pictures by e-mail.
Simon Sleming-Wood, Vice President of Marketing at Pure Digital, says the Dakota Digital disposal is a great way for people to get an idea of what digital photography is like without taking a big risk.
Sleming-Wood says Dakota Digital is the top selling disposable camera at Ritz Camera shops.
