BOYNTON BEACH, FL (WFLX) - Authorities have arrested a suspect in the dragging of a deputy at least 60 feet, according to a spokeswoman for the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office.

Victor Morales, 38, is charged with aggravated assault on a law enforcement officer, fleeing and eluding, and resisting arrest with violence.

The deputy, assigned to the Aggressive Driving Unit, was making a traffic stop on a motorcycle when the driver fled, said Teri Barbera. The deputy suffered minor injuries.

The incident occurred in the I-95 off ramp at Gateway Boulevard.

Deputies located the suspect and his white motorcycle at a plaza at 1729 N. Congress Avenue south of Gateway.
