Missing Montana woman found at surf shop

DELRAY BEACH, FL (WFLX) - A woman from Montana is found safe and sound after being reported missing Monday.

Update, TUE 2 PM: Investigators now say Amanda Lyn Buchanan has been located.

An off-duty Gulf Stream Police Officer saw her standing in front of the Nomad Surf Shop in Briny Breezes Tuesday morning at approximately 7 a.m.

Police say Amanda appeared to be in good health and had no obvious signs of harm.

Previously: The search continues Tuesday morning in Delray Beach for a missing woman from Montana.

Amanda Lyn Buchanan was last seen Monday afternoon.

According to police, all of Buchanan's belongings were found on a beach except the keys to her rental car.

The car is a 2011 silver Ford Fiesta with Florida tag V-6-3-7-N-P.

Buchanan rented the car from Hertz in Bonita Springs.

It's believed she has only been in Florida for a few days.

Buchanan is 5'5" tall, weighs 134 pounds and has brown hair and eyes.
