Romney raises $100k for presidential bid in Boca

BOCA RATON, FL (WFLX) - Mitt Romney, the former governor of Massachusetts and the candidate generally considered the frontrunner for the republican nomination, held a fundraiser in Boca Raton Tuesday night.

The former U.S. Ambassador to the Bahamas, Ned Siegel, hosted the fundraiser.

It cost at least a thousand dollars a person to get in, and with a hundred cars parked out front, Romney raised at least a $100,000 for his presidential bid.

Romney's campaign denied our request for an interview, but they do say he may hold a public event in South Florida sometime in the next few days.
