President Obama sued by lawmakers

WASHINGTON, DC (WFLX) - The White House is defending the legality of the mission in Libya.

It comes after a group of ten lawmakers sued President Obama for taking military action without war authorization from congress. A report sent to Congress by the White Jouse puts the cost of U.S. Military operations in Libya at $715,000,000.

The report also says Mr. Obama does not need Congressional approval for sending U.S. Forces to participate in the NATO-led mission to protect Libyan civilians.
