PBSO: Bodies found in submerged vehicle

PALM BEACH COUNTY, FL (WFLX) - The Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office has pulled two bodies from a canal in western Palm Beach County.

Deputies were alerted to Muck City Road about 1/4 mile west of Highway 98 after a passerby spotted the top of a vehicle before seven o'clock Monday morning.

They investigated and discovered the bodies of two men in a red Ford Ranger pickup truck with a white camper top.

The Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office believes the men drifted off the roadway sometime in the last 24 to 36 hours and plunged into the canal.

"There's no sign of foul play, at this point it [the vehicle] appears it had driven into the canal on its own," said Steven Lipinski with the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office.

The victims are between 43-and-48 years of age according to investigators who are now notifying the families of the men.
