Tip comes in on sibling fugitives' location

ZEPHYRHILLS, FL (WFLX) - Investigators say they received a tip that three Florida siblings, accused of firing shots at a Florida police car and then robbing a bank in south Georgia, may have traveled to Tennessee.

UPDATE, MON 11 AM: Valdosta Police Commander Brian Childress says he received several leads over the weekend, including separate calls saying the siblings' vehicle was spotted near Forsyth, Ga. and Chattanooga, Tenn.

Childress said state and federal authorities are checking out the leads. The FBI did not immediately comment.

Authorities have been pursuing Ryan Edward Dougherty, Dylan Dougherty Stanley and Lee Grace Dougherty since Tuesday.

Sheriff Chris Nocco of Pasco County, Fla., says they are suspects in a high-speed chase in Florida in which at least 20 gunshots were fired at a police car. The officer wasn't hurt.

Previously: The manhunt is on for two brothers and their older sister on the run after two-state crime spree.

They are accused of shooting at a police car during a high-speed chase and robbing a bank with assault weapons in Georgia six hours later.

Lee, Ryan and Dylan Dougherty have been on the run since Tuesday.

The FBI and police posted their photos on electronic billboards across the southeast.

The fugitives' mother, Barbara Bell, turned to the media to urge her two sons and daughter to turn themselves into police.
