Man allegedly stole $3,000 worth of gas from county

WEST PALM BEACH, FL (WFLX) - The man who, investigators say, used a Palm Beach County issued gas cards to fill up his personal vehicle will face a judge Thursday.

The state attorney says Jeffery Sek used the cards for three years.

He is charged with grand theft for stealing nearly $3,000 worth of gas from the county.

Sek is from suburban Boynton Beach.

A Palm Beach County Sheriff's Deputy noticed a suspicious vechicle filling up at the county pumps.

An investigation revealed that was Sek and he was fired from his job.

He could face up to five years in prison.
