WEST PALM BEACH, FL (WFLX) - Excitement filled the Saturday morning air at BrandsMart USA in West Palm Beach.

"Are you ready to win a car?" announced 97.9 WRMF's Dave Brewster.

Lined up and ready to go, all were hoping to drive away in a new Ford Focus from South Florida Ford. "We are feeling very lucky," said David Hunt. "We got here about 8 o'clock last night."

With some help from his son, Hunt made the first attempt at cracking the code. "Not this time" as he discovered his six-digit code wasn't a winner.

Sandra Jones already knew who she would give the car to if she won. "It would be for my daughter. She has three kids and no car."

Unfortunately, she too walked away empty-handed.

But the Focus, which gets nearly 40 miles to the gallon on the highway, wasn't the only prize up for grabs at BrandsMart USA. Many took home gift cards to Panera Bread, Studio Men's Wear, Visa, Rapids Water Park and BB Kings.
