SEBASTIAN, FL (WFLX) - This week's Duffy's High School MVP of the Week goes to Sebastian River High School senior Nikko Finnegan, running back.

Football, however, is not the only sport Finnegan is involved in. "I do wrestling and track when I'm not playing football. The past two years, I've made it to state for wrestling."

In fact, he's lettered in all three sports. "I just practice hard."

His running back coach, Bill Wilson, says he's watched Finnegan develop into an excellent player and leader. "It's not all the time about what you say. He's a leader; he's a quiet leader. With my drills, I may not be there, because I'm doing something in the locker room, and he usually takes over and gets them going on the drills. And when I get out there, everything is done."

Finnegan understands the importance of leadership, as well. "If you get everybody else in the same groove, then you guys can do better as a team."

Nikko plans to play college ball and study business after graduation.
