GREENACRES, FL (WFLX) - This week's Duffy's High School MVP of the Week goes to John I. Leonard High School senior Andy Daceus, defensive end/defensive tackle.

When asked why he's proud of all he's accomplished over the past four years, Daceus's humbling responds, "I did it with my teammates. They're always behind me, helping me."

Coach Willard Monroe nominated Daceus. "You know, if anyone in the foxhole playing football that I would want to be with, it would be Mr. Daceus," said Coach Monroe. "He's size. He's speed. He's power, and then, his humbleness. He never ever, ever gives credit to himself. It's always my team, my God."

Daceus loves the game of football for it's competitiveness. "It's a chance for me to prove myself and play with some great players," he said. "There's some other schools out there that give me a great challenge, and I love the challenge."
