Hanes has beautiful pistachio green eyes and the most loving personality. She's soft and easy-going, and usually stays in her bed most of the day. She will hide at first in new surroundings, but given the opportunity, she will blossom back into her happy, laid back self. She really enjoys the company of both her human, and kitty friends. Petting and lots of attention is one of her favorite pastimes. Hanes came to us all the way back in 2009 with her sister, who was lucky enough to find her forever home. All she's really experienced in life is what she's seen here at the shelter. She knows there a big world out there, and she can't wait to dip her paw into it and broaden her horizons!
Laurel is a very young mommy of five babies that were brought to Peggy Adams. The babies have all been adopted, and now it's time for mom to have her forever home. Laurel knows her name and will talk to you. She is very affectionate, hardly shed, gets along with other cats, has a good appetite and loves anything flovored with chicken.
Now, through the end of September, when you adopt two kittens, you'll get the second one for half price.
Peggy Adams Animal Rescue League is a limited-access humane society and provides services to more than 7,000 cats, dogs, puppies and kittens each year. Operating continuously since 1925, we have been positively impacting animal welfare and addressing overpopulation in Palm Beach County through a variety of services.
Through the adoption and spay/neuter programs, our vision is to ensure that there are no homeless animals and every animal has a home in Palm Beach County.
Peggy Adams Animal Rescue League, Humane Society of the Palm Beaches, is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, receiving no state or federal funding. It is dependent exclusively upon private donations, grants, bequests and fundraising events to provide quality programs and services to the community. Your donations directly support the services and programs in place to help animals in need.
Our mission is to provide shelter to lost, homeless and unwanted animals; to furnish medical and other services for the care of companion animals; to care for, protect, and find quality homes for homeless and neglected animals; to advocate animal welfare, community involvement and education to further the bond between people and animals, for the mutual benefit of both.
