'Surfers' vandalize Oakland Park school

OAKLAND PARK, FL (WFLX) - A South Florida school was "school house rocked" by vandals in bathing suits.

Their destructive day on campus was caught on camera. They walk into Northeast High School in Oakland Park wearing swim trunks and backpacks. They look more like surfers instead of vandals.

After a dip in the pool, the group broke into school buses, wrecked a locker-room and set off fire extinguishers. They smashed a hurricane window before leaving.

"I actually think it's unfair because for example. Northeast spent so much money renovating this school, and I don't know why kids would take personal time out of their lives to come destroy our school," said student Emy Chinchilla.

Broward County investigators say they were able to lift fingerprints from the fire extinguishers and are looking for the three adult suspects.
