October 14: "Steve Jobs Days"

PALO ALTO, CA (WFLX) - We are learning new revelations about the passing of Steve Jobs.

While the news of Jobs' death came as a shock for the world, behind the scenes, Jobs and Apple executives were quietly preparing for his imminent death.

Police in Palo Alto, California say they were notified because of possible crowds around Jobs home after his death.

The man who wrote his biography says the Apple co-founder was too weak to climb stairs during their final meeting a few weeks ago.

Jobs told Walter Issacson he wanted to make sure his children knew why their dad didn't spend as much time with them as he wanted -- because of his Apple responsibilities.

Next Friday has been declared "Steve Jobs Day". That's the same day the new iPhone 4S goes on sale. There's a Web site, SteveJobsDay2011.com. It's encouraging Apple fans to make a fashion statement that day by wearing his trademark jeans and black turtleneck.
