Teen dies after Riviera Beach shooting

RIVIERA BEACH, FL, (WFLX)   Riviera Beach police are searching for at least two "persons of interest" after a 17-year-old was found lying in the yard of a home in the 1000 block of West 25th Street with a gun shot wound.

Paramedics transported him to St. Mary's Hospital where he was later pronounced dead.

Police believe that a male suspect approached the victim on foot as he was sitting in a chair in the yard. 

Shots were fired and the suspect left the scene on foot, according to Rose Anne Brown, a spokesperson for Riviera Beach police.
