(WFLX)- There is good news for graduating high school seniors. A group of colleges is offering cheaper tuition and fees.
At least six private colleges are reducing tuition costs for the upcoming school year.
School officials say by lowering the cost of higher education, they hope to attract more students from middle income families.
The six colleges are Cabrini College near Philadelphia, cutting tuition by 12.5-percent, Lincoln College in Illinois, cutting by 24-percent, West Virginia's University of Charleston, cutting by 22-percent, William Peace University in North Carolina, cutting by 7.7-percent, Duquesne University in Pittsburgh, cutting tuition by 50 percent and New Jersey's Seton Hall University cutting tuition and fees by 21-thousand dollars.
