DAYTONA, FL (WFLX)- Some scary moments during Monday night's Daytona 500 after one of the drivers lost control and slammed into a truck loaded with jet fuel.
The race was under caution when, Juan Pablo Montoya was trying to catch up with the rest of the pack.
He lost control slamming into the back of a jet dryer causing a massive explosion on the track.
No one was hurt in the crash but the 500 was put on hold while crews repaired the track.
Number 17 Matt Kenseth ended up winning race.
