(WFLX)- Happy Birthday, Doctor Seuss!
The popular children's author, born Theodor Seuss Geisel, would have been 108-years-old if alive Friday.
As part of the celebration, a movie about his tale "The Lorax" opens in theaters Friday, March 2nd.
Stars of the animated film will read the book as part of national Read Across America Day
Geisel also brought us classics such as "The Cat in the Hat" and "The Grinch Who Stole Christmas."
He died in 19-91 at age 87.
