John Goodman's girlfriend testifies

WEST PALM BEACH, FL (WFLX)-  Attorneys in the DUI manslaughter trial of multi-millionaire John Goodman questioned more witnesses Wednesday morning.

Goodman -- who is the founder of International Polo Club Palm Beach -- is accused of driving drunk and causing a car crash that killed 23-year old Scott Wilson two years ago.

First on the stand was the young woman who drove by the accident scene that night in February 2010.

During her testimony, she said it was very dark that night, and she didn't see anything in the canal -- a point that may have helped the defense's argument that Goodman was also unaware that Wilson was drowning.

Next on the stand was Lisa Pembleton. Goodman went to Pembleton's trailer the night of the crash and asked to use her phone.

Pembleton said Goodman didn't seem to be in pain from any injuries that night.

She told the courtroom Goodman repeatedly asked her what he should do. She said she repeatedly told him to call 911.

The defense tried to show that Pembleton has a bias against Goodman because her attorney is tied to the attorneys for Scott Wilson's family.

"He said 'I really 'effed up,'" Pembleton explained. "And that he had been in an end of the world accident."

She told prosecutors that Goodman never said anything about his car malfunctioning or being in pain.

We also heard from Heather Colby (or Hutchins), Goodman's girlfriend who he adopted as his daughter.

She said she and Goodman never discussed anything about the crash.
