PALM BEACH COUNTY, FL (WFLX) -- The U.S. Coast Guard was called to the Lake Worth Inlet on Sunday morning to help rescue a boat full of five fishermen.
The men were fishing a couple of miles off the shore when the engine of the boat flooded. The Coast Guard said the men immediately started using buckets to dump water out of the vessel.
Thein Nguyen, one of the men on board, said another boater helped tow the boat in before the Coast Guard arrived to help.
"Once the water started getting more and more, I thought we were going to sink," said Nguyen. "Luckily we didn't at all and everything is okay now."
The Coast Guard finished towing the boat to Phil Foster Park Marina.
