Calhoun began his career a long way from home as a multimedia
journalist in Augusta, Georgia. It was just two months after his
graduation from Arizona State University he started reporting for CBS
News 12. While there he covered many different stories and received
honorable mention from the Georgia Associated Press for Best Spot News
Video while covering an abandoned motel fire.
He started at Fox 29 in 2011 and is thrilled to be in South Florida where he
can go on scenic runs year around. He's an avid sports fan and of
network news programs i.e. Rock Center and 60 Minutes.
Ryan covers the western part of Palm Beach County from Royal Palm Beach all the way out to the Glades.
