RIVIERA BEACH, FL (WFLX) - A call for action in Riviera Beach following Zimmerman's arrest.
Community and religious leaders prasied the special prosecutor's decision to charge him and said now is the time to send a strong message.
They say its time to stand up to violence. "There are way too many guns in our communities. They need to be removed in some form or fashion. So our stop is in support of the stop the violence. Our march is in support of the beginning of the justice process in the Trayvon Martin case," said Patrick Franklin, Urban League of Palm Beach County. "And our march also is in support of us standing up and making our voices heard."
The march starts at Hilltop Baptist Church in Riviera Beach at 4 p.m. with a rally following at 5 p.m.
