Burger King makes a "Whopper" of a promise

PALM BEACH COUNTY, FL (WFLX) -- Have it your way, if your way is cage-free.

Burger King is promising to stop using caged animals for its food items in 5 years.

The fast food chain says all of its eggs and pork will come from cage-free chickens and pigs by the year 2017.

The second largest fast food chain uses hundreds of millions of eggs and tens of millions of pounds of pork every year.

Burger King becoming cage-free is part of a movement toward more humane treatment of animals.
