7 cats are dead after a house fire

SUBURBAN WEST PALM BEACH, FL (WFLX)- Seven cats are dead after a house fire in suburban West Palm Beach Wednesday morning, according to Palm Beach County Fire Rescue.

Fire rescue crews were called to the one-story home on 2294 Caroma Lane just after 3 a.m. when the fire started in an electrical room, according to officials at the scene.

Flames spread to a trailer parked in the driveway, but crews were able to contain the blaze before it caused any more damage to the home.
