WEST PALM BEACH, FL (WFLX) - A 4-year-old child has been injured after a drive-by shooting in West Palm Beach.
According to Allan Ortman with the West Palm Beach Police
Department, the child was inside a house and struck by a bullet.
Police say the gunfire came from a vehicle driving by a park near Windsor
Avenue and apparently intended for a group of men. As the vehicle traveled by
the home they also fired three rounds at the residence.
A 2 and 4-year old were inside with their grandparents.
One of the bullets struck the 4-year-old in the mouth and exited. The
victim is being treated at St. Mary's Medical Center.
The incident happened around 11:04 Thursday morning.
