Attack of the peacocks

JACKSONVILLE, FL (WFLX) - A pair of peacocks are attacking cars in a Jacksonville neighborhood causing thousands of dollars worth of damage.

Neighbors say the birds have been doing it for months, and nobody will come get them.

One victim says the attacks may not be about the cars. "He thinks that he's seeing another male in that black car reflection," explained Ray Spencer.

"It's been like everybody passes the buck. Nobody quite knows who handles recovering a peacock out of a neighborhood," added Carlee Staple.

One of the victims hired a trapper. The female has been caught, but the male is still ruffling feathers. The trapper plans to use the female to catch the male.
