SUBURBAN BOCA RATON, FL (WFLX) - A person has been killed in a traffic accident in suburban Boca Raton, according to Teri Barbera, spokesman for Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office.
The westbound lanes of Glades Road had to be closed while PBSO investigated the crash.
It happened around 8:30 p.m. when a car and a motorcycle collided at the intersection of Glades Road and Golf Course Road.
Deputies on scene tell FOX 29 the motorcyclist was going at a high rate of speed when it was hit by the car.
The victim died at the scene.
The accident is under investigation, Barbera said.
