Large stroller recall

(WFLX) - Peg Perego is recalling hundreds of thousands of strollers because children can become trapped and strangled between the trays on them.

The company is recalling about 223,000 Venezia and Pliko-P3 Strollers made between January 2004 and September 2007.

Peg Perego says a 6-month-old died of strangulation in one of the strollers in 2004 and a 7-month-old was nearly strangled in 2006.

Only strollers with a child tray and one cup holder are part of the recall.

Consumers should stop using the strollers and contact Peg Perego for a free repair kit.
