INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FL (WFLX) - Two men are being held without bond on attempted first degree murder charges.
Deputies say Robert Smith and Dominique Helms were the gunmen who opened fire on Avery Lee on July 7. The attack happened on the 3400 block of 45th Street in Vero Beach.
Investigators say Helms wanted to kill Lee because he spoke with Helms' girlfriend.
Lee survived the shooting and is expected to recover.
