(WFLX) - Lieutenant Governor Jennifer Carroll says she is sorry she offended lesbians when she said black women, who engage in 'those' relationships, don't look like her.
The apology comes more than a week after responding to accusations from a former staffer.
The fired staffer, Carletha Cole, claimes she saw Carroll in "a compromising position" with a female travel aide.
Cole made the accusation as part of a criminal case against her. Cole is charged with violating state wiretap laws.
