MIAMI (WFLX) - A Palm Beach Gardens man, who pleaded guilty to threatening a woman with kidnapping, committed suicide in federal custody.
Thirty-two-year-old Alexander Petersmarck hanged himself last Thursday at the Federal Detention Center in Miami.
Petersmarck pleaded guilty in May to sending threatening letters to a wealthy Palm Beach man and his daughter.
He was scheduled to be sentenced in Fort Lauderdale Monday morning.
