RICHMOND, VA (WFLX) - Chalk drawings may be one of your kid's favorite past times. But for a mother in Virginia, her daugther's designs led to a court conviction and sentence.
Susan Mortensen has to complete 50 hours of community service for letting her 4-year-old daughter use chalk to draw on rocks at a park.
During her community service, Mortensen will have to repaint nearly 200 white posts on a one mile stretch.
