Vero Beach residents lining up for reused water

VERO BEACH, FL (WFLX) - Some Vero Beach residents may soon be saving money on their water bill.

The city council has approved a contract with Timothy Rose Contracting to construct a pump station for reuse water.

The water will be pumped from the main relief canal along 43rd Avenue and will then be treated and sent to reuse water customers.

There is already a waiting list of 200 customers that want access to the reuse water for their lawns.
