FORT MILL, SC (WBTV) -
A Fort Mill woman has been charged with serving her child alcohol at a Fort Mill bar.
Gretchen Kinnear, 44, of Fort Mill, is charged with contributing to the delinquency of a minor, according to the report from the York County Sheriff's Office.
Deputies arrived at McHale's Pub on the 1800 block of Gold Hill Road in Fort Mill on Sunday evening.
The manager and a waitress had asked Kinnear to stop serving her child beer shots.
Kinnear told deputies she had been sampling a blonde beer and had given some of it to her 4-year-old son.
She told deputies that she had given her son two drinks while inside the bar.
The boy told deputies that his mom had given him some tea that tasted funny and made him dizzy and laugh a lot, according to the report.
He also said his mom gives him some of this 'tea' at home once or twice a week.
Kinnear said she does drink wine at home and allows her son to have some though she doesn't allow him to get drunk.
