NORFOLK, VA (WWBT) -
A Virginia gay couple is suing United/Continental Airlines, claiming a "sex toy" was removed, then taped onto their luggage.
Christopher Bridgeman and Martin Borger were flying home to Norfolk from Houston in May. They readily admit they packed a sex toy in their luggage for their vacation.
They've claim baggage handlers removed the toy, smeared it in aircraft grease, duct taped it to the outside of their suitcase and then placed it on the luggage carousel for all the passengers to see. The couple has now filed suit against the airline,
Borger told NBC News he was "absolutely and utterly shocked, embarrassed and humiliated."
United has issued a statement saying it does not tolerate discrimination of any kind, but adds after investigating, they've found no facts to support the couple's allegation.
