Two arrested after police pursuit ends in Boynton crash

BOYNTON BEACH, FL (WFLX) - A police pursuit in Boynton Beach Thursday afternoon ended after a car with two suspects crashed into a woman's front yard in a neighborhood off Seacrest Avenue.

Officers were on the lookout after they received information that a black Nissan had rammed a Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office deputy's vehicle.

According to Boynton police, the vehicle refused to stop for officers and made several right and left turns to elude them.

The suspects then lost control around 5:30 p.m. at the 100 block of NE 15th Avenue where they swerved into the front yard of a residence.

Timothy Anderson, 26, the car's passenger, was taken into custody as he attempted to run from the vehicle, officers said.

The driver, Kashus Davis, 26, ran from the vehicle and entered a residence in an attempt to hide, police say. He was later cornered and captured by officers.

Davis was charged with fleeing and eluding, possession of cocaine, possession of ecstasy, possession of marijuana, aggravated assault on LEO, burglary to occupied residence, reckless driving, driving with a suspended license and leaving the scene of an accident.

Anderson was charged with possession of marijuana and had several warrants for his arrest.

In court Friday morning, a judge set Davis' bond at more than $400,000. Anderson bonded out for his charge of possessing marijuana.
