NYC takes banned sodas step further

NEW YORK (WFLX) - First, it was extra large sugary drinks, and now New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg is setting his sites on sugary and fatty foods in hospitals.

The crackdown on hospital cafeterias will include banning deep fryers, making salad options mandatory, and allowing only healthy snacks.

Many New York hospitals have already restricted sodas and candy from their vending machines.
