UNDATED (WFLX) -- A new place to learn about Alzheimer's is now live on-line.
The Banner Alzheimer's Institute along with scientists around the country put together an online community of those dealing with the disease.
The registry is a place where people affected by the disease can come together and share information as well as keep updated on the latest research.
"We need everybody's effort, we have an ambitious goal of getting one hundred thousand people getting enrolled in this registry and join our movement by June 2013," said Jessica Langbaum, Ph.D with the Alzheimer's Prevention Initiative.
It's estimated about 16 million people around the world have Alzheimer's disease.
