LANTANA, FL (WFLX) - A Lantana man is behind bars after being accused of scamming a woman out of more than $200,000.
According to police, 54-year-old Dominick Sarlo received four checks from the woman for thousands of dollars after telling her about a fake investment opportunity.
He's now facing charges of grand theft and "organized scheme to defraud". Police say he's been convicted twice before for similar scams.
