(WFLX) - Confidential files, kept by the Boy Scouts of America on men they suspected of child sex abuse, are set to be released after a two-year-long court battle.
More than 20,000 documents are expected to identity more than 1,000 leaders and volunteers who are now banned from the group.
They're accused of sexual or inappropriate conduct with a number of Scouts between 1965 to 1985.
The president of the Scouts says this is part of protecting the children, but admits the organization's response has been insufficient.
