BOYNTON BEACH, FL (WFLX) - A new troubling discovery at one local public golf course.
State inspectors are reporting high concentrations of arsenic in the groundwater under the Links at Boynton Beach.
The question now is whether that arsenic is spreading underneath the ground to nearby residential areas and canals. Authorities say they've found no evidence of problems in nearby communities but will continue to keep a close eye on things.
No word on how the arsenic got there to begin with or what city leaders plan to do about it.
