Boca agrees to stop gay discrimination

BOCA RATON, FL (WFLX) - The Boca Raton city council has approved a contract with Palm Beach County that does not allow discrimination against people based on their sexual orientation.

The contract was approved Tuesday after a month-long controversy about the city's equal opportunity policy.

City council members say the agreement will clear up any confusion between the county and city's policy since Boca Raton's previous policy did not cover discrimination.
