WEST PALM BEACH, FL (WFLX) - With recent layoffs across our area, 'help wanted' is a phrase not seen or heard enough. But a West Palm Beach information technology firm has been having big trouble finding qualified people to hire. PC LAN TECHS, which specializes in computer and networking solution has been trying for six months to double the size of the staff.
The company has even reached out to managers at what was Digital Domain on the Treasure Coast and to a number of Palm Beach County employment agencies. The company boasts competitive pay and full benefits.
The company says applicants have not had enough I.T. experience to fill about fifteen positions. "It's very surprising to me," said Janet Alvarez, Human Resources Administrator for PC LAN TECHS. "I've actually never come across this as of yet. I've been in a lot of different fields throughout my career and this is actually the first time I've had a problem trying to find people to hire," she said.
PC LAN TECHS is looking for experienced technicians, field technicians, sales specialists, network engineers, a dispatcher and a sales manager, among other positions. Candidates can send resumes to jobs@pclantechs.com or can visit www.pclantechs.com for more information.
