Commissioners voting on downtown WPB hotel Tuesday

WEST PALM BEACH, FL (WFLX) - Another step forward for a proposed hotel at the Palm Beach County Convention Center.

Monday night, county commissioners agreed to a deal with the developers who will pay the city of West Palm Beach nearly $14 million over the next 33 years.

The project will cost a total of more than $27 million, but $13 million of that will be covered by the city.

A final vote on the deal is scheduled for later Tuesday.
