(WFLX) - While retailers are busy planning their Black Friday deals, not all of their employees are excited.
A new online petition by Target workers is asking the store to not open on Thanksgiving. In a just a few days, the petition has gathered nearly 2,000,000 signatures.
In response, Target is saying it's simply meeting their customers' demands, and with 10-percent of holiday sales at stake during the Thanksgiving weekend alone, opening early is one way to get consumers in the door.
