BOYNTON BEACH, FL (WFLX) - The city of Boynton Beach is now the owner of two run-down properties. Last Tuesday, the Community Redevelopment Agency Board turned over the land to the city.
They'll now begin work to expand the adjacent Sara Sims Park. The lots are just west of Seacrest Boulevard along Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard.
The city says it has been working to obtain the properties for some time.
