TAMPA, FL (WFLX) - It is 13 minutes of cell phone video that, Florida prosecutors say, spells out a chilling plot.
They say a teen planned to kill more people than Columbine and Virginia Tech. The target: A high school in Tampa. "Then shoot everybody at the front desk. Mr. Stanzo's office is right here. I've got to kill him. Mrs. Carmody is here. I've got to kill her. Mr. Piers is here. I've got to make sure he doesn't die because I like him," says Jarod Cano in the cell phone video.
Jared Cano pleaded no contest last month to "threatening to discharge a destructive device with intention to harm".
A judge will sentence him next month; Cano's attorneys said the incident was all a fantasy.
