WEST PALM BEACH, FL (WFLX) - An investigation is underway into a deadly house fire overnight in West Palm Beach.

West Palm Beach detectives say the fire started around 11:20 p.m. Monday in the 400 block of Pilgrim Road.

One of the firefighters with West Palm Beach Fire Rescue suffered minor injuries while putting out the blaze.

Early into the investigation, fire rescue didn't report any other injuries.

Upon further investigation, they found the body of a man toward the rear section of the home.

The state fire marshal is investigating.
