JUPITER, FL (WFLX) - Jupiter High School and Jupiter Elementary School are no longer on lockdown after an incident that occurred across the street from the schools, according to a Jupiter Police Department spokesperson.

The schools were on lockdown until about 10:40 a.m.

Officers said the schools were placed on lockdown as a precaution and the incident was not related to the school.

There is no detailed information on the incident that occurred at the residence near the school.
