(WFLX) - According to two new reports, more than $120 million in taxpayer-funded Medicare expenses went towards inmates and illegal immigrants between 2009 and 2011.
Under federal law, Medicare doesn't generally pay for services for either group.
Federal health officials say they now plan to launch a process to recoup lost money.
